2023 Summer Opp Directory

Summer ID Camps/Clincs

Bristol Boys and Girls Club will be running their Girls Volleyball Summer League from weeks June 29 through August 15th. This is a great way to stay involved with the sport over Summer and compete against other high school programs. NHS Girls Volleyball will be creating 2 teams; JV and Varsity with 10+ players to each team. Incoming Freshman/Sophomores will be on JV Summer Team, and Incoming Juniors/Seniors will be on Varsity Summer Team. (disclosure: these teams are not reflective of actual selections for the fall '23 season).

The cost is $45.00 per player. This is not mandatory and intended to be a fun Summer activity to keep touches on the ball.

If you are interested in participating, please let me know ASAP by responding to this email (kade.vanlinter@gmail.com). First 10 to respond will get a spot on each team.  Please send the completed participation waver form, T shirt size,  along with a check made out to Girls Newington Volleyball Booster Club no later than Friday, June 15th.

Other Opps to Meet/Play

We may hold our own conditioning program over the summer for all prospective volleyball program athletes. in addition, our 6 Varsity Seniors this year - Omayra Batista, Alyssa Dugas, Ava Johnson, Brooke Poulin, and Veronica Pushkar - will be coordinating events and opportunities to meet, play together at Churchhill/etc, and spend time this summer prepping for Fall Season 2023.
