Hockey Team Upsets Wethersfield Co-op

The NHS Co-op Hockey team stopped a 3 game losing streak with an emotional 2-1 victory over arch-rival WMRP on Coaches vs Cancer Night contest. WMRP came into the game with a 7-0-1 record over their last 8 games including an earlier 3-1 defeat of the Indians' squad. A strong defensive effort by the host team combined with a pair of timely goals energized the Indians and carried them to the victory.
The team will visit the second-ranked team in the state, the Terrorcats of Tri-Town, for their next game this coming Wednesday afternoon.
