Girls Golf has two medalists in win

 Newington 197, Simsbury 230: Newington kept its strong season going with a comfortable win over the Trojans.

The Indians’ Jessica Pierzchalski and Chloe Bilodeau medaled, finishing the round in 45 shots each.

Taylor Kelly, Leah Tofeldt and Maddie Massarro-Cook also posted totals of 48, 59 and 59, respectively.

“It was a good day. The sportsmanship of Simsbury was unbelievable today,” Newington coach Rich Condon said. “Chloe had two AP exams today and was running behind and they gave her time to get there and play and it worked out for us. It was a real case of sportsmanship.”
