Girls Basketball gets W over Wethersfield

 Newington 56, Wethersfield 50: The Indians were able to pull out their ninth win of the season thanks to a strong fourth quarter. 

Ashanti Frazier finished a rebound shy of a double-double. Newington’s points guard scored a team-high 18 points to go along with nine rebounds. Karissa Zocco and Alexie Armour also finished in double figures with 10 points apiece. 

The Indians’ Olivia St. Remy had nine rebounds to go with her five points. 

Nicole Gwynn led the Eagles with 22 points
