Spring 2020 Athletics Season Canceled

With the announcement today that distance learning will continue through the end of the school year, the Spring athletics season has been canceled. The Newington Athletic Department wants to thank all of our Spring Senior student athletes for all their dedication and many contributions to our program. We hope that your experience in sports will help you manage this challenging time and recognize that with all adversity comes an opportunity to learn and grow. We are lucky to have you as part of our Newington Athletics family and thank you for the commitment you have made to making our programs successful!

Even though we have missed out on this season, we look forward to the opportunity to work with all of our returning student athletes in the future. As student athletes, you understand the need for preparation and perseverance. This time is unprecedented and only you can decide to utilize whatever time you have available to improve your skills and abilities while following appropriate social distance guidelines. Continue to find ways to better yourself and focus on the positive and you will always succeed!
