COVID Protocol Update

COVID-19 and Students who play SPORTS:

Students with asymptomatic or mild disease (<4 days of fever and symptoms) may return to sports when symptoms are resolved.

Students with moderate symptoms (≥ 4 days of fever, symptoms, or a non-ICU hospital stay and no evidence of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), may return to sports after 10 days have passed from the date of the positive test result and symptoms resolved.

Students with severe symptoms (ICU stay and/or intubation, or MIS-C) may return to sports after a minimum of 3-6 months, and be cleared by their provider (note must be submitted to the school nurse).

Parents and students are responsible to report moderate or severe cases to the Athletic Department as well as their school nurse. It is recommended that all positive cases should be reported to your child’s provider.
