NHS Athletics Awards Night

The Newington Athletic Department would like to invite you to our Athletics Awards Night, which will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 6:30pm in the NHS Auditorium. The event will highlight the many accomplishments of our student athletes and present our department awards to the many outstanding student athletes who represented our program this year. 

We will be recognizing the following groups of student athletes during the presentation:

State Tournament Qualifying teams

Fall, Winter, & Spring All Conference 

Fall, Winter & Spring Academic All Conference 

Fall, Winter, & Spring All State

Unified Sports

Leadership Award Winners

Scholar Athletes

Sportsmanship Award winners

George Brinley & Joyce Jamer Awards (Most Outstanding Male & Female Athletes)

Each sport will have team members recognized, so the more student athletes and parents who attend, the more support those student athletes will receive. Please come and enjoy the ceremony as we congratulate the wonderful year of sports we have had at NHS!
