Newington Swims Past Berlin

This evening's Boys Swimming and Diving meet held at Newington High School, ended with a final score of Berlin 83 and Newington 98.  Standout performances for Berlin, include Dan Klotz's 22.01 in the 50 Freestyle and a 53.49 in the 100 Butterfly.  Nathan Giacconi also took a first place finish in the 1 meter diving finishing with a score of 161.20.  Newington had impressive swims by Greg Goodwin in the 200 Free with a time of 2:05.21, Kurt Swenor in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.74, Steven DiPaola-Tromba with a time of 1:06.96, and finally a 1:40.51 in the 200 Freestyle relay swum by Kurt Swenor, Wei Kuan, Steven Falkner, and Brett Cayer.  Thisvictory earns Newington a record of 6 wins and 2 losses for the season.
