Boys Golf falls one stroke short of NWC

NEWINGTON — It was a tough loss to swallow for the Newington boys golf team on Tuesday, falling by one stroke to Northwest Catholic, 160-161.

Despite the Indians loss, Jake Hedberg was the medalist, shooting a 36 on the par 36 course of Indian Hill. 

Aaron Donnelli was next on the Newington squad, shooting a 40 while Kyle Lacson shot a 41. 

Tim Wells and Erik Smith rounded out the scoring with a 44 each. With the loss, the Indians fall to 7-3 on the season.
