Girls Swim & Dive Wins and Sets a New School Record

The girls' swim team who won their meet last night against Southington earning them a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. The final score of the meet was Southington 91 and Newington 95. The entire meet was very close with a very even matchup by both teams. Newington pulled out the win at the end, and even set a new school record in the process. The new record was set in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:57.84 and was set by Danielle Rocheleau, Julie Iskra, Olivia Karanian, and Hannah Martin. Congratulations!
