Softball blanks NWC for 12th win

Newington 6, Northwest Catholic 0: Katrina Peck homered while Haley Blais added a pair of doubles and Briana Woods another as Newington ran its record to 12-6 this season. Olivia Burgos was dominant in the circle, allowing just four hits, while Blais had the two doubles, two stolen bases and scored a run.
