NHS golfers lead way for Team Connecticut

Newington High School’s Tim Welles and Jake Hedberg joined up with Berlin native Jack Kane to help lead Team Connecticut to a win over Team New England in the 3rd Annual Remy Cup at the Kirkbrae Country Club on Saturday.

Playing in Ryder Cup-style four ball and foursome formats, Team Connecticut claimed a 4-2 victory. Holes 1-9 were played under four ball format while 10-18 were played under foursome format.
