Wrestling comes up short against Southington

Southington 53, Newington 20: The Blue Knights got a commanding victory over the Indians Wednesday night.

Nick Kelly got things started at 145 pounds with a pinfall victory over Percey Tenorio in 2:48. Other winners by pinfall or decision for Southington were Shawn Devin (160), Sndrew Symanski (285), Zack Murillo (113) and Austin Abacherli (126). The Blue Knights were helped out by five wins via forfeit along the way.

Picking up victories in the loss for the Indians were Brendan Zotti (152), Joey Briganti (120), Rafael Anderson (132) and Richie Junquera (138).
